Furthermore, Bosowa Mining & Energy owns infrastructure business such as Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage facilities, steam-powered electricity generators, and port facilities management.
As a relatively new business, Bosowa Mining & Energy is always looking for new opportunities to grow its business, organically by building new capacity, or inorganically by investing in existing production in the mining and infrastructure sectors.
Mining products include marble blocks, marble tiles, crushed stones, and other building materials. Marble block and marble tile products are sold in Java, Sulawesi, and Kalimantan, as well as exported to China and Korea. Crushed stones are often used in construction in Sulawesi, Kalimantan, and nearby regions.
The economy can only grow if there is sufficient electrical energy. The increasing need for electricity in South Sulawesi, along with high economic growth above the national average, created an opportunity for Bosowa to enter the power plant business.
Bosowa’s steam-powered power plant is located in Jeneponto with the capacity of 2 x 125 MW and is one of the main electricity providers for PT PLN in the South Sulawesi region.
Bosowa LPG station encompasses refilling, storage, and distribution services of pressurized LPG, supported by an integrated facility and an efficient management. Bosowa LPG stations are located in Makassar to serve the Sulawesi region and in Banyuwangi to serve the East Java region.
To support its various activities, Bosowa owns several ports located in Makassar, Banyuwangi, and Jenoponto. The port management is designed to be integrated, efficient, and professional.
